Why Kappas?
With thousands of sisters nationwide, Kappas have many experiences and opportunities to offer, as well as a sisterhood that will last a lifetime. No two sisters are the same, but we all learn from each other and grow together every day. We strive to maintain our three pillars of sisterhood, service, and cultural diversity and in the process, make our college experience nothing short of amazing and adventurous.

Jessie Li *VULPECULA* " It’s a Sisterhood that helped me step out of my comfort zone while also supporting me every step of the way. The Sisterhood Pillar resonates with me personally because I didn’t have a sister growing up so there were a lot things i had to figure out on my own. Joining this sisterhood has allowed me to fully express myself comfortably with one another. Being in an environment like this has made me grow in a way my younger self would be proud of personally and professionally." |
Madison Brown *Naruu* " I wanted to join Kappas in order to find a close group of friends that also valued spreading cultural diversity, especially for the Asian community. I was adopted from China as a baby and grew up in a predominantly white area of Ohio, so I was happy to find a connection to my culture. I’ve also found what sisterhood means through the close bonds with my sisters. " |
Michelle Chen *Vannier* " I chose kappas because I wanted to join a community of empowering and supportive women. I also wanted to learn more about my own culture and meet those of various backgrounds. Joining kappas really helped me grow and also cultivated my leadership skills with all the opportunities available. Through kappas, I was able to really find a home away from home and I cherish all the memories and the bond I have with the sisters! " |

Emerly Ong *Zerouno* "Sisterhood retreats/roadtrip with sisters! It's always a pleasure to get to hang out with sisters outside of kappas. I loved exploring different cities or going to concerts with sisters! I've knew the sisters more outside from kappas and made some life-long relationships with them." |
